Wednesday 15th January

U15s Girls Netball – A fantastic start to the netball season for the Y10 girls with them winning their first two games. After trailing at half time 3-2 vs BHF, a dominant second half saw them score 7 points to record a 9-4 victory. The girls then completely controlled their second game vs WREN, winning 8-1. Two brilliant victories which are the product of 2 terms of hard work and dedication in training – well done girls!

U14s Boys Basketball – A brilliant start to the 2nd round of league fixtures from the boys, winning 26-40 vs Bohunt. A controlled performance from the boys didn’t see them trail once during the game, with some fantastic attacking plays on display. Well done lads, keep this up!

Thursday 16th January

U15s Boys Football – A horrible evening for football, but a stellar victory for the Y10 boys football team who are through to the second round of the county cup with a 3-0 win vs LVS. Whilst not a pretty performance, the boys did what they needed to do to ensure that they were in the hat for the 2nd round.

Wednesday, 18 December
U16s boys basketballA fantastic end to the season for the U16 boys basketball
team who were victorious vs WREN, winning 54-34. This final victory means that
the boys claimed top spot of their league and have progressed into the top seeded
group of fixtures for the next round.
A brilliant achievement – well done to all those involved.

Wednesday 11 December
U16s boys basketball – The boys continued with their scintillating form with another impressive win vs Little Heath. A fantastic 40 – 17 victory has put them in a very strong position going into their last league game on Wednesday 18 December where they will hopefully qualify for the next round of fixtures after Christmas.

Thursday 12 December
U14s boys basketball – A very close match ended in a 21 – 26 defeat vs JMA.
After trailing going into the 2nd quarter, the boys fantastically turned the game
around and were leading up until halfway through the 4th quarter. JMA however
came back strong and managed to secure the close victory. They boys have improved dramatically over the course of the season and their effort levels have been brilliant – well done lads!

Tuesday 3rd December

U14s basketball – The boys notched up a fantastic 30-6 win vs WREN. The most impressive aspect of the win was the level of improvement by the boys from the previous game – they have been practicing hard and it is showing in the games, well done boys!

U7s Boys 5-a-side Football Tournament – Well done to the 7 boys who took part in the first football of the year for the Y7s. It was a tough round of games against some particularly good schools, but the boys demonstrated a fantastic attitude which bodes well for the forthcoming season.

Thursday 5th December

U12s girls football – An incredible end to the season for the Y7 girls football team who notched up an impressive 3 wins from 3 games. The level of improvement and commitment from this group of girls has been staggering and they have been a pleasure to take to fixtures this year.

Wednesday, 27 November
U12 girls football
Our U12 girls football team had a fantastic day at the U12 football tournament, run by Chelsea FC. They came a commendable 6th
out of 8 tough teams and played brilliantly throughout the day. It has been a very positive season for the girls who are looking to cap off the year with a couple of victories in their final fixtures.

Thursday, 28 November
U14 basketball
A fantastic result for the U14 boys basketball team who secured a 37-4 victory against Blessed Hugh Faringdon school. The boys responded to an opening day defeat
fantastically and displayed some sublime basketball. A special mention also goes to Tommy R who scored our first 3-point basket
of the year, and to year 12 student Zac W for providing some excellent coaching to the boys during the game.

Friday, 29 November
Y10 boys football
The year 10 boys football team had a lovely day out at the seaside as they travelled 90 miles to play in their 4th round fixture of the
National Cup. Despite a tremendous second half performance, the boys were unable to make up the 3-goal deficit that they trailed by at half time to secure what would have
been an outstanding victory – even hitting the bar in the final moments of the game. There was no shame in this defeat however, as the boys were one of the last 128 schools
in the country participating and should be immensely proud of their efforts.

Monday, 18 November
U14s basketball vs Little Heath It was a tough start to the season for the U14s boys basketball team who suffered a 40-12 defeat to a very strong Little Heath
side. Despite the score line, the boys never stopped trying – if the effort levels continue, the results will soon come.

Thursday, 21 November
Y7 boys rugby festival. The Y7 boys had a fantastic day at the U12 Berkshire Rugby Festival hosted by Reading Blue Coat School. We were initially drawn against 3 very strong teams – including the host’s A team! – and did well to come
away with close score lines. In the afternoon, we were drawn in a much better group where the boys played some brilliant rugby, coming away with 2 wins, 1 draw and a solitary defeat. The boys represented Prospect fantastically throughout the day – well done!

U16s boys football vs Charters School After an amazing achievement in getting to
the 4th round of the national cup, the journey for the U16 boys is over after a hard-fought match against a good Charters School side ended in a narrow defeat. Congratulations to the boys on getting this far.

U12s girls football vs Denefield, St Josephs and JMA A tough evening for the U12 girls football team as they came away with 0-0 and 1-1 draws against Denefield and JMA respectively, and a 3-0 defeat against a well organised St Josephs side. It has been fantastic to see the girls improving with every game – keep it up!
