Work Experience

Spend an action-packed week in a PwC office of your choice during your summer holiday – meeting our people, experiencing the work we do and making new friends.

If you’re interested in business, then our paid work experience programme is for you. With the support from your team, you’ll see how we support household brands, governments, charities and global companies with everything from planning for the future, to how they can make best use of their technology and meet the challenges of a changing world of business. Plus, you’ll get support, advice and coaching from our recruitment team. If it goes well, you’ll have the opportunity to: fast track to secure a full-time job with us when you leave school or college; explore our Flying Start degree programme; or find out more about our undergraduate work experience opportunities if you decide university is for you.

Our 2019 Business Insight Week vacancies are now closed and will open in September 2019 for Summer 2020.

Cisco Work Experience Programme - Applications for November are open.

Applications for our November Pathway To Your Future work experience programme for year 10 & 11 are now open.

Similar to last year we are able to offer a number of places to schools able to be flexible with releasing students to attend work experience out of the school’s set dates.

As usual we will be running both technical and business streams at both Bedfont Lakes and Green Park.

  • 11-15 November in Bedfont Lakes, Feltham
  • 18-22 November in Green Park, Reading

Please let me know by Monday 23 September if your school would like to be offered some places for the November programme. Once we know how many schools are able to join us then I can confirm the number of places for each school. Students will still need to apply.

If you are a private school please reply to this email for an alternative application process.

For everyone else here is the information your students need to apply for the November Pathway To Your Future work experience. Using the S4S:NextGen portal, as we did for the July programme, helps us manage the process and better direct opportunities to students that really need them. Your students may find that your school isn’t registered. Who We Are

InvestIN is a London-based organisation led by a group of experienced professionals from some of the world's most competitive careers. We exist to provide students with an immersive experience of their dream career before they start university, so they can get a head-start over their competition. More than 25,000 students from 72 different countries have attended our programmes, which take place in cities around the world.

What We Do

We deliver immersive career experiences to students aged 15-18 who aspire to break into some of the world’s most desirable industries. On our programmes we aim to create the ‘ultimate work experience’ through interactive simulations, site visits, seminars, networking sessions and career coaching guidance.

We offer experiences in: investment banking, law, medicine, engineering, computer science, business, psychology, architecture, politics and journalism. On each programme, experienced professionals provide students with the following four foundations of a successful career:

The fundamental concepts a student must know about the profession that can only be understood in a live, collaborative environment.

Real-life, interactive simulations followed by guided feedback, so that students truly walk in the shoes of that professional.

Coaching on the science of breaking into the most desirable jobs, all the way from A-level/IB and university choices to interviews, applications and assessment centres.

An opportunity to meet-and-greet high-ranking professionals, who can become invaluable mentors for students' future careers.
