100th Anniversary of the Great War

This Sunday marks the hundredth anniversary of the ending of the Great War on:

11th November 1918

As always at Prospect, we have spent the week thinking about what Remembrance means to us in the twenty first century and the continuing value of honouring the lives of all men and women who were killed in the many conflicts of the twentieth century.

On Friday, as is customary, we will be holding a short ceremony and a two minutes silence at 11 o'clock at our own war memorial:

‘The Prospect 1000'

All students are welcome to join us and share this time for quiet reflection.

Mr D. Ridgus (History Teacher)
