  • Year 7 Ufton Court Adventure

    Published 09/10/18

From 10th-14th September Miss Ralston, Mrs Vacy‐Ash, Year 7 Tutors and students had a wonderful 􀆟time teambuilding at Ufton Court.

Despite only having been at Prospect for 3 days, students were asked to take themselves out of their comfort zones, leave mobile phones at home and take part in various activities designed to help them get to know each other, work as teams and develop their confidence.

We had lots of fun swinging across obstacle courses in the woods, making survival bracelets, learning circus skills, building campfires and making hot chocolate, before spending the night sleeping in the (haunted) Tudor manor house.

All the Prospect Staff who attended Ufton Court were very impressed by our students who were positive and tried everything – including all the vegetables at dinner!

Students had the opportunity to meet representatives from Higher Education establishments and Apprenticeship organisations to gain information about the courses and opportunities available in 2019.
